Social Work Graduate Success: Employment Rates and Job Growth Trends

Social work is one of the fastest growing professions today, which means that our graduates get jobs. In terms of “gainful employment in the field,” of our 2025 survey respondents, 87% were either already employed or became employed in the field within 6 months of graduation. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), jobs in social work are expected to increase by 18.4% between 2022 and 2032 (www.bls.gov).
